HEALTH CARE SOLUTION : Cross Analysis / Modeling/Follow up

WHAT IS THE CROSS ANALYSIS
The Cross Analysis is mathematical application of the Venn diagram of the measured indicators of specific examinations to focus in a possibility of dysfunction or disease and the necessary link between the clinical context and the physician interpretation to make a diagnosis

WHY THE CROSS ANALYSIS

Aid to Data Acquisition of the Patient
The calculations performed by the computer are vastly quicker than the human brain (the computer can perform 50,000 operations each second).
Nowadays practitioners are in the same position as were accountants before the adding machine.
The adding machine has not done away with the accountant; it simply allows the accountant to perform his profession differently.
The ES Teck Complex health care solution, with its cross analysis, can represent a similar advance and change the practice of medicine into a profession with more rationality coupled with a higher degree of mastery of the art.

WHAT IS A MODELING ? and WHY A MODELING?
At present, the treatment plans made by doctors rely on predictions based on statistical averages.
The physiology of the human body is complex and individual, but advanced computational methods enable the modeling of the body. Designing a reliable model requires accurate information about the functioning and anatomy of the body and about the properties of tissues. Advances in computing power enable utilization of quite complex models in the daily work of doctors.
As the possibilities of treating diseases improve, it is important to choose the right treatment for each individual patient. To day, a doctor may be able to use a virtual model to test how the planned treatment would affect a patient, and can choose the best treatment method in each individual’s case. The challenge faced by models is how to apply them to a patient’s personal physiological characteristics. Medical models are already used in research and in fields that are easy to model. For instance, in the calculation of radiation doses resulting from radiotherapy, models are part of the daily routines of hospitals.
The ES Teck Complex propose a modeling based upon non invasive technologies to use in the practitioner' office.

KEY FACTS..........

According to a survey published in the Journal of American Pharmacists' Association in 2001, the cost of detected drug-related morbidity and mortality in the United States exceeded US$177 billion in 2000, with hospital admissions accounting for about 70% of total costs. Since 1995, the costs associated with drug related problems have been more than doubled.
The safety of medicines: adverse drug reactions (from WHO fact sheet #293 updated October 2008)

Unintended, harmful reactions to medicines (known as adverse drug reactions) are among the leading causes of death in many countries.
The majority of adverse drug reactions (ADR) are preventable.
People in every country of the world are affected by ADR's.
In some countries ADR-related costs, such as hospitalization, surgery and lost productivity, exceed the cost of the medications.
No medicine is risk free. Vigilant assessment of the risks and benefits of medicines promotes patient safety.
British Medical Journal published a study which was conducted at United Kingdom in 2004. The study carried out a prospective analysis of 18,820 patients admitted into hospital over six months to assess the cause of admission. There were 1225 admissions related to an ADR, giving a prevalence of 6.5%, with the ADR directly leading to the admission in 80% of cases. The projected annual cost of such admissions to the National Health Service was 466 million (US$ 847 million)
