Pre-study Gustave Roussy Institute GRI 2002: This study was conducted to validate the following:
- Monitor the acid base balance
- Monitor tissue oxygen
- Monitor the effects of chemotherapy

Clinical investigation Botkin Hospital 2003 This study was conducted to validate the following:
- The inverse problem for the modeling of the human body using The EIS System.
- As a marker for unipolar depression with reference to an estimation of interstitial fluid of the cerebral serotonin level.
- As a marker for hypothyroid with reference to an estimation of the thyroid production (T3)
- The screening and follow up of:
- Hypertension
